A police officer was killed this week here in Arizona. Today is his daughter’s kindergarten graduation, and because he couldn’t be there, the rest of the force showed up to represent him.

Im in such a good mood today and looking forward to this weekend. But then I think about the fact that you arent here anymore. Its suppose to get easier right? Well when does that happen. Everyday I try and put it in the back of my mind and go one with my day. Its been 7 months. Im not suppose to cry anymore but I stil l do. I just want to be able to call you and hear your voice. If only you could make a phone call to heaven.

So for those of y’all that dont know I am going to school for my BA in counseling and want to focus on combat trauma when I am done with school. Well I have been stressing out the last month because I had to get a solid B in my hardest class to be able to get into my internship class. Well my grade for that class was posted Monday and I got an A-, thank god! So I emailed my advisor and told her so that she could clear me for enrolling in my internship class. Well I found out this morning that I did in fact get into it! So now my search for my internship starts. Its scary and exciting and a mix of emotions. I have worked so hard to get through school and busted my ass time after time. And now I know when I graduate and its really exciting. Well thats it for now I have to go hunt for my internship now :)
